Aww! Your Sharky looks like such a sweetie! I wish more people saw Pits like this instead as killers. Any dog can be vicious. Dalmations are worse in my opinion, they randomly snap and go insane on their owners, which i’ve seen first hand. Yet every Pit i’ve met was just as loving as yours :3 Keep posting videos! I hope Sharky will change some minds :3

Yes. But I myself could never trust a pit I didn’t raise around cats or small children. I would be like that with ANY big dog. , I don’t trust my ankle-biter, she’s a territorial dominant biotch. A well-raised pit can be as loving & gentle as any other dog, they have an exaggerated reputation because they can be deadly. Aggressive pits can do a LOT of damage & don’t give up. There are other breeds who aren’t marked as aggressive that have maimed their owners but pit bulls have KILLED people.

you know what I love? how everyone and their mother thinks they’re an expert on pitbulls. talk to any person on the street, ask them about a greater swiss mountain dog or , even the types of poodles and they’ll be stumped. bring up a pitbull and suddenly they’re the worlds greatest dog expert.
do some research. pitbulls were bred to NOT be human aggressive. dont believe me? do the leg work.

Thank you for sharing videos like this with us. It makes me feel happy that not everyone hates pits and think they are all just a vicious breed. They are as dangerous as any other breed can be and it’s not always their fault but their owners that don’t know how to treat and handle them.
Sharky looks like a sweetheart and I love the videos with the bunny.

im still not convinced with all that. my friend rescued a pit bull that was badly abused and almost killed because his old owner wanted to fight him but he was just to sweet and wouldnt do it
the owner didnt even get fined and im sure he probly has another poor pit

Congrat’s on your dog. But they were bread into their system to be aggressive, it’s no ones fault. It’s instinctive. In some dogs it’s more of a dominate trait than other pitbulls. So it’s all about the breeding and the handling.

pit bulls are trained to be agressive. my pit has never even growled at another dog.
my neighbors dog attacked her once and she didnt even try to defend herself
